The Indira Gandhi National Open University, (IGNOU) is the largest Open University in the world. The Indira Gandhi National Open University, (IGNOU) is established to impart distance and open education to the disadvantaged section of the society. The Indira Gandhi National Open University, (IGNOU) was established in 1985 and named after the former Prime minister of India Mrs. Indira Gandhi. The Indira Gandhi National Open University, (IGNOU) has its head quarters in New Delhi and sub centers and regional centers all over India. IGNOU accommodate around 2 million students in India and abroad. It has got more than 2300 study centers. IGNOU offers 175 academic programs comprising 1100 courses. IGNOU courses offer undergraduate level, Diploma level and Post Gradu8ate levels. Presently the IGNOU website is a popular hub for students.
